About Me
My name is Dee, and I am an Ofsted registered Childminder in Spalding. I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and your little ones. With over a decade of experience as a teacher and a deep-seated passion for nurturing young minds, I have dedicated my life to providing exceptional care and guidance to children. I live in a 4-bedroom detached house in Spalding.
As a mother of four wonderful children, my journey in childminding is inspired by my own experiences and the love I have for kids. My years in education have equipped me with the skills and understanding necessary to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My philosophy centres around providing personalised care that caters to each child's unique needs, fostering their development, and encouraging their curiosity. I believe in creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere where children feel loved, secure, and excited to learn.

I am available from 7 am to 6 pm between Monday and Friday. I also offer overnight care where required.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees start from £6.50 an hour. A sibling discount is available upon request.

Trusting someone with your little ones is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make.
My children and I had just made a huge move from Eastern Europe back to the UK and, after a lot of searching, we found Dee.
From the very beginning, she put me completely at ease. My children settled into her thoughtfully designed setting so naturally, and I felt reassured from day one. We were incredibly fortunate that she had space available, because there simply wasn’t anywhere else in the area that offered the same sense of warmth, care, and homely environment.
My youngest (2½) attends three days a week, and my oldest (4) joins during school holidays outside of his main setting. They both genuinely love going. My youngest excitedly shouts, “Yeah! Dee Dee’s! Look Mummy, Dee Dee’s house!” whenever we arrive.
They always come home buzzing with excitement, eager to tell me about what they’ve done, what they’ve learned, and who they’ve played with. As a parent, there is something incredibly special about hearing your child feel proud of themselves for trying something new or achieving something independently, and Dee creates the environment that allows that confidence to grow.
Most importantly, I know my children are cared for, respected, and genuinely valued while they’re with Dee. For us, that’s incredibly important.
Dee, thank you. You have supported all three of us through one of the most challenging periods of our lives, and you’ve done so with kindness, professionalism, patience, and genuine care. I am incredibly grateful, and I truly wouldn’t want my children anywhere else.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with our childminder and feel very lucky to have found her. From the start she has been caring, reliable, and extremely supportive.
Our son found the transition difficult after our move to Spalding and changing childminders, but she was incredibly patient and understanding. She supported him at his own pace until he felt settled and secure, which made a huge difference to him and to us as parents.
He has come on so much since being with her, especially in his confidence and independence. She provides a lovely mix of activities and clearly puts a lot of thought into making sure the children are happy, engaged, and learning.
Communication is always excellent, and we are kept well informed about his day. Most importantly, we always feel confident that he is safe, happy, and well cared for.
We would highly recommend her to any family looking for a kind, professional, and genuinely caring childminder.

My child has attended for only 3 months. During term time as well and started when they were 7 months old.
Dee welcomed my child into her home. My child settled in so quickly and rarely cries at drop off. My child smiles every time we attend, and squeals when we go through the gates.
This speaks volumes about how excellent of a setting this is. The observations you receive from tapestry are in depth and accurate for your child's development.
In such a short time I can clearly see as a mum how much Dee cares and would love both my children to attend until they go to school.

Finding someone you trust with your little one is so daunting, but Dee made the transition incredibly easy. From day one, she provided a warm, nurturing environment that felt like a home away from home. My child settled in much faster than I expected, and I can go to work knowing they are safe, happy, and well-cared for. I couldn't ask for a better childminder!

Dee has been absolutely amazing ever since we started coming. My little girl came from 9 months old and she absolutely loves coming. Dee is so kind and caring and very accommodating. Even my children who don’t attend love coming and dropping their sibling off and waving at Dee. She’s wonderful with my little one and does an absolutely outstanding job of looking after and caring for my little one and her face lights up everytime we pull into the gateway. She learns and explores so much by being there too. Would absolutely recommend this lovely lady and amazing place to anyone looking for childcare. 5*

Millfield Montessori Childminding has been absolutely amazing for my children. They are always so happy and excited to go, which says everything as a parent. Dee clearly has such a genuine love and care for the children, and it really shows in everything she does.
In just three months, I’ve already seen such a difference in what they’ve learnt and how they’ve developed. The Montessori approach really shines through, and it’s lovely to see them growing in confidence and independence every day.
I feel completely at ease knowing they’re in such a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment. I couldn’t recommend Dee and Millfield Montessori Childminding enough

Since our little lad has been with Dee hes excelling in his education, learning and communication skills. He comes home and always tells us what a great day he’s had. So glad we moved him from a nursery to dees he’s come on heaps and bounds will forever be grateful to Dee for her kind care and attention to the children.

Our son started here last year he took to Dee as soon as they meet. We felt so comfortable leaving never having any issues at drop off. He tells he’s had such a great day every time also what he has learned in that day. Dee is very professional and one of the nicest people we have met. Couldn’t wish for a better childminder.

Dee is so very professional in her approach but yet so child led, my little one has come on leaps and bounds and it’s all down to the educational play.
Dee is easy to deal with, a great communicator and I feel so reassured that my little one is so happy in her company.
It’s hard sending your little one anywhere and I am so pleased I choose Dee!

Dee is absolutely wonderful! My baby boy is always so happy to see her, he runs straight to her with the biggest smile, which says everything. Her home is super clean, tidy, playroom filled with lovely toys and activities that keep the children engaged. Dee is so welcoming, warm, and gentle, and she made my little one feel completely at home from day one. She is incredibly attentive and supportive, always providing updates and plenty of information about how their day has been. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that my baby is safe, happy, and so well cared for with Dee. I couldn’t ask for a better childminder! Thank you so much!
