About Me
We are a busy working family with two lovely girls, Grace aged 3.5yrs and Iris aged 5, living in Nunhead SE15. Mum (Ruth) and Dad (Matt) both work full time & commute to the City several days per week, working from home on other days (in a separate office upstairs). Grace attends nursery full-time, Iris will be starting Year 1 in Sept at a local school.
My Requirements
We are looking for a friendly, caring afternoon nanny who can work approx. 2-7pm, 4 days a week (Mon, Weds, Thurs & Fri) - but these could be flexible for the right person.
We’re looking for someone available to start in September.
Duties would include keeping the children's rooms and other play spaces tidy & organised, managing kids laundry and putting clothes away (plus other ad-hoc tasks like mending things would be very helpful!), doing nursery and school pick up (both 10-15mins walk/short drive away), playing/doing reading practice, preparing kids dinner, bath and getting the girls ready for bed (one of us would take over around 6.45pm to put them to bed).
Whilst the core hours are around 20hrs per week, we could potentially offer additional hours in school holidays, plus additional hours if you're able to help with light housekeeping/house admin, plus evening babysitting too if this is of interest.
We are looking someone who is kind, motivated and passionate about giving children the best start in life. We aim to offer a stable and fulfilling long-term role, with the flexiblity to pursue your own interests or additional work alongside looking after our girls.
We've had a similar set up for the past year with our current nanny, which has worked really well, but as she is now sadly moving away we are looking for someone new.
