I started putting my daughter to Shwe back in May 2026 (when she turned 1 year old and I returned to work). My partner and I had looked at various nurseries before considering a childminder. Shwe came up as being fairly close to our new house and so we arranged a visit and settling in session. As I’m sure every parent feels, you really want to make the best decision for your child when they go into childcare and it can be a daunting task finding the right place.
Since meeting Shwe, it was very apparent that she had such a warm, kind and caring nature and I felt so at ease leaving my daughter with her. She hasn’t cried once when I’ve left her with Shwe over the past 3 months, and every time I pick her up she is smiling and so content and happy. Not only that, Shwe has never made me feel like any of my requests or needs are too much or not important e.g. sending approximate nap times for each day and dietary preferences - she is so accommodating and understanding and you can see just how much she wants the children to be happy and at ease in her care. I am so grateful and lucky to have found Shwe for my daughter and I can go to work each day knowing that she is happy and comfortable in her care. Shwe is also very good at giving updates throughout the day, including all meals/snacks eaten and naps taken, which makes such a difference when you’re spending long days away from your child for the first time! Shwe’s home is an ideal setting with plenty of space to play, lots of toys and a large garden for outdoor play too. It’s a stimulating, interactive and safe environment. My daughter’s eyes and smile light up when Shwe answers the door in the morning and I think that says it all!
