Part-Time Nanny / Mother’s Helper Needed (Starting Mid-July)

We are a friendly family located in SE London looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive nanny/mother’s helper to support us during weekday evenings while I am on maternity leave with a newborn.

I have a newborn and a 2-year-old who attends nursery, and I solo-parent most evenings. I’m looking for someone who can provide an extra pair of hands and become a valued part of our family’s routine.

Hours:
• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
• Approximately 4pm–9/10pm
• Some flexibility available on the days and hours for the right person

The role will vary depending on what support is needed each day and may include:
• Engaging and playing with my toddler while I feed or settle the baby
• Holding or caring for the newborn while I help my toddler with bedtime
• Assisting with nursery pick-up on occasion
• Helping with simple dinner preparation and tidying up after meals
• Providing general practical support to help the evening run smoothly

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with a flexible role that combines childcare and light household support, and who enjoys working alongside a parent as part of a team.

This would be a wonderful opportunity for someone who is warm, adaptable, and enjoys supporting families with young children.
