About Me
Experienced English tutor with over 15 years of teaching across all ages and abilities, including Phonics, SATs, GCSEs, ESOL, and SEN. I offer both online and face-to-face sessions in Norfolk. As a qualified teacher (QTS) with advanced DBS clearance and safeguarding training, I provide a safe, engaging learning environment. My lessons are interest-based, often using songs, games, and creative strategies tailored to individual needs. I’m trained in sign language and committed to being neurodivergent-friendly, ensuring inclusive support for all learners. My Experience
I trained as a primary school teacher in 2009 and have since worked in a variety of educational settings, including a school for children with additional educational needs. I have also held the role of English Subject Lead. In 2020, I transitioned to both online and face-to-face tutoring, supporting a wide range of learners. I have successfully tutored students through their GCSEs and ESOL exams, and provided additional support for home-educated learners and children with special educational needs.
