About Me
I am a hard working, approachable, organized and caring person. I have enjoyed working in care with learning disability and complex health needs for the past 10 or so years, however, I am now looking to use my skills within a different setting. I have plenty of experience in baby sitting, childminding and working with children, young people and early years. I love the strong bonds you can build and to support them to grow and develop. I'm a second mum to my nieces and nephew supporting my sister who is a single mum. I have a passion for early years learning and development through play and music.
My Experience
Planning and running learning activities for children and adults with complex disabilities, communication and health care needs. carrying out care tasks such as personal care and toileting, supporting with eating and drinking, peg feeding and supporting with hygiene. health care tasks such as administration of medications orally and via BGT peg, BGT peg care and cleaning and storing of related equipment, administration of suction and oxygen and trachea care. food preparation adhering to hygiene and food guidelines. housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and storage of medication equipment, cleaning of bathrooms, change beds, hoisting equipment, toilets and kitchen areas. First aid and seizure specific First aid. full training in fire safety, health and safety, food safety, infection control, dysphagia, manual handling, level 3 safeguarding.
I have plenty of experience with children, young people, additional needs and health needs.
My Qualifications
Advanced level apprenticeship in adult health and social care . Level 3 qualification
