I asked Mary to babysit my two children for an afternoon/evening at short notice. She was very responsive to messages and was happy to have a video call beforehand so we could introduce ourselves. She turned up promptly, was great with the kids, and handled bedtime well. We're planning to book Mary again to help out with the kids for a wedding we have next month.
