About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah Jones & I live with my husband and 8 year old daughter in Frome.
My offering is a calm, nurturing and safe space for children to learn through play.
Children have access to a wide variety of resources including loose parts, art and crafts, sandplay, waterplay, mud kitchen, roleplay and wooden dollshouse.
We also love to grow our own veg in the summer and the children share the harvest and take it home.
My setting hours are 9am-3pm during term time.
I also offer holiday clubs for school aged children
My Experience
Previously an agency registered childminder and now an Ofsted registered childminder, I also have past experience working as a nanny for multiple families.
My Qualifications
I have completed training/hold certificates in the following:
*Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework
*Interagency Safeguarding
*Full paediatric First Aid
*Food Hygiene (I hold a 5 star food hygiene rating)
*Safe Sleep
*Recognising & preventing FGM

*Using Treasure Baskets & heuristic play with babies & young children

*Child Nutrition (diploma)

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour

I offer evening babysitting at £12 p/h (minimum of 3 hours)

Our child joined Sarah at 13 months after we were looking for a gentle, nurturing, home-from-home environment. They settled and bonded with Sarah immediately, and have since loved arriving each day, and always coming home with a smile.
They have formed lovely friendships with the other children, and we really enjoy hearing about the daily adventures they share together. Sarah takes great care in supporting each child’s development and is attentive to their individual progress and emerging skills.
She provides a calm, caring, and loving environment, with a wonderful range of creative activities that reflect the seasons, alongside plenty of daily opportunities for outdoor play.
We are very grateful for the ongoing nurturing care that Sarah provides.
