I came across Sabina Begum’s profile when I urgently needed someone to care for my two babies, both under three and still learning to talk, while I attended an appointment.For context, I had NEVER left my babies without me. They had always been with me, and I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to leave them with someone else.
During my first phone call with Beena, I actually had a good cry! She was incredibly calm and reassuring and invited us to her home beforehand so we could meet her and the babies could become familiar with her. Her quiet, cosy home immediately put my mind and mummy heart at ease.
Beena is extremely professional and takes safeguarding and consent seriously. She showed us her up-to-date DBS and relevant documentation, including DBS documentation for anyone who might assist her or be present. She had consent forms covering even the smallest details of my babies’ care, including permission to take photographs to send privately to us.
On the day, my babies had freshly made pancakes from scratch and homemade chicken and potato curry with rice — which one of them still remembers as “yellow chicken”! Beena sent us photos and updates throughout, which meant so much to me.
Most importantly, my babies were safe, happy, well-fed and cared for with genuine warmth. Considering they had literally never been left without their mummy before, that meant everything.
I would not think twice about leaving my babies with Sabina Begum again. She is as professional as they come, but beyond that, she is simply a beautiful soul. I genuinely wish I could put my children in her full-time care! For now, I’m a SAHM who wants her babies home until she finally has to return to work — and when that day comes, I hope Beena has space for us!
