We honestly couldn't have wished for a more caring, nurturing, and supportive childminder for Jesse.

From the very beginning, she has made him feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Every day is filled with fun, creative activities, outdoor adventures, and opportunities to build his confidence and independence. It's clear how much thought, care, and passion goes into everything she does.

Jesse absolutely adores going, and as parents there's no greater reassurance than knowing he's happy, thriving, and genuinely excited to spend time there. We've seen such wonderful progress in his confidence, communication, and social skills.

Communication has always been fantastic, with regular updates and photos that make us feel part of his day. She truly treats every child as if they were her own.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a special childminder and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a warm, professional, and loving environment for their little one. Thank you for everything you do for Jesse—we appreciate you more than words can say!

Muddy Wellies

We genuinely couldn’t ask for a better childminder than Laura at Muddy Wellies. From the very beginning, she has gone above and beyond in every possible way, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Every day is filled with fun, learning, and adventure. Laura is always taking the children out exploring, whether it’s a walk through the forest, a trip to the park or boating lake, or spending time in her incredible garden. One of my daughter’s favourite things is collecting eggs from Laura’s chickens and helping to grow and pick vegetables from the garden. It’s such a wonderful way for the children to learn about nature while having so much fun.

Laura puts so much thought into planning engaging activities, and there’s always something exciting for the children to enjoy. From water play and sensory activities to crafts, baking, and themed learning, every day is packed with opportunities to explore, create, and learn through play.

She is also incredibly musically talented, and my daughter absolutely loves singing, dancing, and playing instruments with her. It’s been lovely to see her confidence grow and to hear her singing songs she’s learned at Muddy Wellies. She’s also learning Makaton and Welsh with Laura, which has been such a fantastic addition to her development.

The care Laura provides extends to every part of the day. She always serves healthy, home-prepared meals and snacks, and it’s so reassuring to know our daughter is eating such nutritious food while she’s there. She also sends a detailed daily diary after every session, letting us know everything they’ve been up to, what our daughter has eaten, and all the little moments from the day. As parents, we absolutely love reading it, and it makes us feel so involved even when we’re apart.

The toys and resources at Muddy Wellies are amazing too. There is honestly every type of toy you could imagine, with something to spark every child’s interests and encourage imaginative play.

Most importantly, Laura creates such a warm, caring, and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and simply enjoy being children. Our daughter absolutely loves her days at Muddy Wellies, and seeing how excited she is to tell me all about her day says everything.

We can’t recommend Laura highly enough. She is an exceptional childminder, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have their child in her care.
