About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder offering a warm, nurturing home-from-home setting for little ones.
As a mum to two young children, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, happy and cared for in a calm environment where they can learn and develop at their own pace.
We enjoy regular outings to rhyme time, playgroups, parks and soft play, alongside lots of fun activities at home including stories, music, crafts and outdoor play in the garden.
I provide a small, caring setting with plenty of individual attention, helping children build confidence, friendships and feel part of everyday family life.
I currently have one funded early years space available from September 2026, offering full days Tuesday to Thursday.
My Experience
I am a full-time mum to my 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son, and I enjoy supporting their learning and development through play, both indoors and outdoors.
I have been childminding since July 2025, caring for a baby in my home setting. This has given me valuable experience in providing calm, responsive care and supporting routines, feeding and early development in a home-from-home environment.
From September 2026, I will have one additional early years space available alongside my current childcare place.
My Qualifications
I hold a degree in Psychology, which included studying child development and understanding how children learn, grow and develop emotionally and cognitively in their early years.
I have also completed a Childminding course, Paediatric First Aid training, and a Food Hygiene course to ensure I provide a safe, healthy and well-informed childcare environment.
I regularly apply my knowledge of child development alongside my practical experience as a childminder and parent, supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and individual needs in a calm home-from-home setting.
My Availability
Available Tuesday to Thursday.

We feel very lucky to have found a childminder as caring and nurturing as Donna. We really appreciate her taking the time to mirror our preferences around sleep and food, following gentle parenting practices and baby-led weaning. Our daughter is very happy to be left in her care and has never cried when we leave her, which is honestly the best sign! It really is a home from home which is exactly why we think childminding is such a good option at this young age. Our daughter enjoys going to rhyme time, Jingle Bugs and playgroup with Donna as well as playing in the garden and the house. All the things we would be doing with her if we weren’t working. We get detailed feedback and pictures of the day which is always lovely to receive. Our daughter has formed lovely relationships with Donna’s own children, and she’s treated just like one of the family.
