About Me
Dedicated and passionate tutor with over four years of experience. I teach English and English as Second Language (ESL) for a wide range of levels and ages. I ensure my sessions are comfortable and engaging so students can gain confidence and knowledge. I have an extroverted personality with a high attention to detail which I apply to my tutoring. I cater to students' needs and interests where I offer 1-to-1 lessons, homework support and 'filling in gaps' sessions in order for students to thrive academically and confidently.
My Experience
I have three years of experience teaching ESL in South Korea so I am well-equipped with many different teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and abilities. I also have one year of experience of 1-to-1 English tutoring whereby I developed personal curriculums for students with an end goal in mind to ensure clarity and show development. My tutoring usually comes with an Intro-Presentation-Practice-Production-Conclusion approach however sessions will always depend on needs and learning style of the students and the objective of the tutoring session at hand.
My Qualifications
I have graduated in Law at the University of Nottingham in 2020 demonstrating my problem-solving skills and attention to detail. I have also earned a TEFL Certification which has built the skills needed for planning lessons, observing students abilities, and creating a good learning environment.
Currently I work for a charitable organisation working with young vulnerable people meaning I have the understanding and awareness to approach students who may find challenges to learning.
