About Me
I am currently studying psychology at university and hope to volunteer in schools and help spread awareness for mental health so that younger children can know that certain emotions can occur they can seek help or talk to others for guidance and that it’s okay to do so. In the future, I’d like to be able to be a clinical or child psychologist so I can offer support to younger people in ways I wished I had received when I was younger myself.
My Experience
I got into nannying as i want to build up my experience working with children so i can get a better understanding of them and also how to approach situations (hard ones and simple ones) but also just to give them a safe environment and nurture them. A bit about my experience: I’ve worked for a few families home in london and in manchester who’ve had young children around 13-20 months (i can get you references) and 2/3 years old (and also up to 14 y/o) and working with them was a joy! I’ve also had a lot of personal experience looking after babies as i helped my mother raise my two younger sisters from birth.
My Qualifications
I’ve completed all gcses (2022), my a-levels (2024) in which i did Psychology, Religious studies (inc Philosophy and Ethics) and Biology and i’m currently completing my Psychology undergrad (2024-2027).
