In the future, I hope to go into social work, as supporting children and families is something I truly feel called to do.
My Experience
have hands-on experience working with children in both professional and voluntary settings. I currently work in a nursery, where I support children in their early years with play-based learning, social development, and daily routines such as mealtimes and group activities. This role has given me valuable skills in creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments for young children.
Alongside this, I volunteer with a youth group, where I help to plan and run activities for older children and young people. This has strengthened my ability to adapt to different age groups, manage group dynamics, and encourage children to develop confidence and independence in a fun, supportive way.
My combined experience has given me a strong foundation in childcare, from early years right through to supporting young people. I am committed to providing care that is patient, nurturing, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
