About Me

Hello! I’m a hands-on dad and a professional working in our busy family haulage business, which specialises in the movement of bulk whisky. Having grown up on Kintyre and Islay, I carry a deep connection to the west coast—its landscapes, its people, and its values. That upbringing shaped my appreciation for community, resilience, and the outdoors, and I try to pass those qualities on to my son.

Alexander, my lovely boy, is nearly five (his birthday’s in February) and absolutely lights up around anything that moves—lorries, planes, and above all, buses! He attends nursery 4.5 days a week, split between a traditional nursery and a woodland nursery, which gives him a great mix of structure and nature.

I co-parent with Alex’s mum, and we've had a consistent care routine since separating four years ago. I look after Alex three times a week, and we’ve built a strong, joyful rhythm together. I also have a long-term partner who is a senior clinical scientist at the Queen Elizabeth and she is also now part of Alex's life.

I'm looking for a kind, reliable nanny to help with overnight Sunday care—someone who can offer a calm and nurturing presence while fitting into our warm and busy household.
