Part Time Nanny Job In Washington
About Me
I am looking for a kind, reliable nanny to care for my 8-year-old son, who is nonverbal and autistic. He is a gentle, lovely boy who attends a local school in the NE38 area. We live close to his school, so ideally the nanny would also be based nearby.
I work in a special education school (8.30am–3.30pm), so the role will cover the times around my schedule.
Required Hours (Thursdays & Fridays only, term-time):
Morning: 2 hours before school (supervision at home and school drop-off)
Afternoon: School pick-up and care for up to 2 hours, until I return from work (may be shorter some days).
Start Date: 9th October
My Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervising him at home before school
- Safely dropping him off at school
- Collecting him from school in the afternoon
- Providing after-school care until I return home (snack, quiet time, supervision)
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with autism or additional needs preferred
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Must be punctual for school drop-offs/pick-ups
- DBS check required
Location: NE38 (close to his school)
Pay: To be discussed, based on experience and qualifications.
