We were visiting Oxford from the United States for several days and needed a babysitter for our five-year-old daughter for two evenings. We were a bit nervous about this because we've never hired a babysitter during vacation, let alone in a different country. We spoke with Kitty using video chat in advance, and she really put our minds at ease. She has a regular job at a daycare in Oxford and just does some extra babysitting on the side. She shared a lot of documentation that we also appreciated. All communication leading up to the babysitting times was excellent. Kitty arrived on time and was very prepared. She even brought children's books, which was a huge help because we had limited kid supplies in our airbnb. Our daughter warmed to her quickly (they were singing songs together almost right away). Kitty oversaw her dinner, bedtime routine, and going to sleep. Kitty had to deal with some unexpected issues, such as my daughter having a rare bathroom accident (probably due to being off her usual schedule). It was also brutally hot in the airbnb because it was a heat wave and there was inadequate ventilation. We were very sorry about this, but Kitty reassured us it was fine. She handled everything professionally and with a positive attitude. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Kitty. (My daughter also thought it was extremely cool that Kitty's face is on some bus advertisements for the daycare.)
