About Me
Hello, my name is Helen. I live in Newquay with my family. Now my daughters and stepson are teenager’s, I have time to give another family/person a helping hand. I am an honest, helpful, kind, hard working person. I enjoys going for walks, cooking/baking, reading, drawing and painting. I have been a self employed artist for many years and have also enjoyed being a ‘Host Family Mum’ for European students that have come to here to learn English, surfing and all that Cornwall has to offer. I am educated to degree level & have an enhanced DBS, Safeguarding & food hygiene certificate.
My Experience
As a parent of older teens, I am experienced in looking after children from birth but not just that, being a home maker. I enjoy activities with children of all ages whether it be playing in the home, going out for walks / exploring outdoors, or perhaps baking or drawing together. Teaching children new skills together is very rewarding.
I have been running my own home for 25+ yrs so am very experienced in cleaning, cooking, ironing and all that comes with managing a house and family life.
I hold a full driving license and have access to a car for part of the week.
