My husband and I are both full-time working parents, based in Newcastle upon Tyne and we're looking for a caring and reliable childminder for our 7-year-old daughter for after school and looking at potential childminder for our baby from October next year who is due to arrive in March next year. Our daughter is a happy, lively and active kid who loves animals and being outdoors. She especially loves spending time with younger children. We're ideally looking for part-time care on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after school at present, but we can be flexible for the right person and we'd also require flexibility as my husband works shifts and for when our new baby arrives.
We're looking for someone warm, engaging and experienced – ideally someone who encourages learning through play, and provides a safe, loving environment. We'd love for them to be around other children too, to help build social skills, especially for our daughter who is currently an only child.

My Requirements
At present, we are looking for after school care from 4pm until 5:30pm for our daughter.
When our baby arrives, we'll be looking to have them looked after once I return to work (around October time), during working hours. The baby will be approximately 6 months old.
We require flexibility because my husband works 4/4 shifts and we would not require as much care when the '4 off lands' on weekdays but would when '4 on' lands on the weekdays.
