About Me

Run by two sisters, Clarkes Childminders provides a safe, caring space where children can explore, learn and thrive at their own pace in a loving home environment.
Melissa - I'm a mom to two lovely daughters. Family time means everything to me. When im not out and about, you'll find me at home all cosy with a blanket, a candle and a good film. I love baking and enjoying good food (especially anything sweet!)
Autumn is my absolute favorite season, I love the colours, the cosy evenings, and the excuse for warm drinks and jumpers.
I'm always full of new ideas and love planning fun trips and activities to make every day a little bit special.
Megan - I'm a fun, friendly person who has always loved being around children. I'm close to my family and they're a big part of who I am. I'm creative and love spring, being outdoors and getting out and about, whether it's popping to the shops and buying things I don't need or going for a walk.
I enjoy home cooked dinners and, of cause, my sweet treats! I love making a positive difference in peoples lives and bringing a fun, caring energy to the children i spend time with.
Our setting offers a nurturing, family style environment where children can feel valued and supported to grow in confidence and independence. We follow the EYFS, providing a balance of play based learning, routine and opportunities to learn through experiences.
My Experience
We bring a wealth of experience caring for children of all ages, both personally and professionally. We are passionate about early years and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feel supported, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
We hold up to date Pediatric First Aid and safeguarding training and work inline with the EYFS to provide safe, high quality care tailored to each child's needs.
My Availability
We offer flexible childcare to suit family life, including ad-hoc hours when needed. We're open early from 6am and close late at 8pm, making us ideal for parents with shift work, longer days or changing schedules. We always aim to be as accommodating as possible to support our families.
We offer funded hours termly and stretched over 46 weeks of the year, between 8am and 6pm.
