My Experience

I have over 9 years of experience working with children in schools and childcare settings in both the UK and India. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in Cardiff, where I support children aged 3–9 in early years and primary classrooms. I also have experience supervising children during lunchtime, helping with behaviour, routines, and wellbeing, and working individually with children who have additional learning needs (ALN/SEN). I hold an Enhanced DBS, CPD-certified Safeguarding training, and have worked with children from diverse backgrounds.

My Qualifications

I hold a Master’s degree in Education (MA) from the University of South Wales, where I focused on how children learn through play. I also have a Diploma in Teacher Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Mumbai, India. I am registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) and I have an Enhanced DBS check. I have also completed Safeguarding in Education (CPD certified) and other childcare-related training, including early years and behaviour support.
My background in teaching and childcare gives me a strong understanding of child development, learning through play, and how to support children’s emotional and social needs in a safe and positive way.

My Availability

I am available full-time for babysitting, including:
Mornings
Afternoons
After-school care
Evenings
I can support families who need regular childcare or occasional help, and I’m flexible with hours. I am based in Cardiff and can travel locally.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
