About Me
I work full time in healthcare and am based in Central London. My husband and I live between the UK and the Middle East, and our daughter travels with me when I return to the UK for work. These stays are typically around six weeks at a time.
We are looking for a kind, reliable and engaging part-time nanny to support us during these UK periods. We have a well-established schedule and are able to provide all dates well in advance, allowing for clear planning and consistency for everyone involved.
The ideal person will be flexible, organised and comfortable with a family that splits time between countries. We are hoping to find someone who can build a warm relationship with our daughter during our UK stays and who enjoys providing nurturing, stimulating and attentive care.
My Requirements
We are looking for an attentive, kind and caring nanny for our 18-month-old daughter, Freya, for 3–4 days a week between the hours of 8.15am and 5.15pm whilst I work in London. I may occasionally be working from home, either in the house or in our garden office
Freya is a very chilled little girl — curious, chatty and incredibly inquisitive about the world around her. She has already had a fairly adventurous start to life, having moved to the Middle East at just four months old, and has since travelled extensively between there and home.
We are looking for someone to care for Freya while showing her the world, playing with her, teaching her, encouraging her and, most importantly, genuinely enjoying spending time with her.
We have a relaxed parenting style and believe in giving Freya the opportunity to learn through her environment. We encourage her to discover things for herself, work out how things function and explore at her own pace. She is bright, happy and confident, and we simply follow her lead. Freya is also very comfortable playing independently. We do not allow screens - and wish that any of her caregivers respect this.
We are searching for a kind, loving and nurturing nanny who will provide a safe, stimulating and supportive environment, offering plenty of affection and encouragement. The right person will be calm, patient and engaging, happy to follow Freya’s cues, introduce age-appropriate activities and support her natural curiosity and independence. We are hoping to find someone who feels like a natural extension of our family and who will build a warm, trusting and loving relationship with Freya as she continues to grow and explore the world around her.
