About Me
Hello,
I am Ben and I am a childminder in the Tottington area of Bury. I have two children. I am a registered childminder and my wife, Leanne, is working as my assisstant. I am registered with a childminding agency and have completed: Paediatric First Aid Training, as well as the full range of trainings on: Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Safe Sleep and The Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. I hold a current enhanced DBS and so does my wife. I hold a full valid driving license and can offer school pick ups and drop offs.
We provide a nurturing, educational and safe environment for all children that are in my care. We believe in supporting children to develop and are very passionate about seeing each child reach their potential. Both myself and my wife have extensive experience in education and this allows us to provide high quality care for all children. We have a lot of fun in our setting and we really believe in children learning through play. We also have the ability to offer a bilingual environment for Mandarin-speaking families as well. All our policies are up-to-date and we are fully insured.
My Experience
I have 4 years experience of working within education. This has been in primary school and nursery settings. I also have two children. My professional exerpience and my personal experience means that we have a great time in our childcare setting. Leanne has around 6 years of experience in education teaching English as a Foreign Language and Maths.

My Availability
I am reasonably flexible with the hours we can provide. I am available anytime on weekdays and could do weekends if needed. I am happy to tailor the hours to work around you.

- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour

We couldn’t be happier with the care our child receives from Little Stars. Ben and his wife are both incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, creating such a warm and welcoming environment for the children. It’s clear they genuinely care about each child’s wellbeing and development.
Ben is very professional and organised, and his wife is wonderful with the children as well. It’s also a big bonus that she speaks Mandarin, which adds a lovely cultural and language element to the experience.
Our child always looks happy at the end of the day, having had a fun and engaging day full of activities. Communication with them is always easy and reassuring, and we feel completely confident leaving our child in their care.
We highly recommend Ben and his wife to any parents looking for trustworthy, nurturing, and dedicated childminders!
