I was due to start a new job, which felt like a huge and daunting career step for me. On top of that, I had to find someone to care for my children. My eldest is nonverbal, autistic, incredibly bright, an expert escape artist, and a constant worry as he is a real flight risk. The thought of inviting essentially a stranger into our lives to care for my children — especially one so vulnerable — was overwhelming.
I spoke to Becky on the phone initially, and within five minutes all of those nerves simply melted away. I just knew I wanted her to be part of our family and to care for both of my children. When we met in person, that feeling was completely confirmed.
When you employ Becky, she isn’t just an employee — she becomes a friend and part of your family. She is one of the most kind, empathetic, and genuinely wonderful human beings I have ever met. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. The only person I might trust as much — or perhaps just slightly more — would be my own mother.
Becky is an extraordinary person who goes above and beyond anything that is asked of her. She cares not only for your children, but for you as well. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her.
