About Me

I am a parent of 2 grown up children and have 2 grandchildren aged 1 and 7 who I have provided regular weekly childcare for.
I’m an early years expert and have worked in early years for 41 years including providing family services for children in Nursery; Nannying; running my own business; providing play and development sessions for groups of children and families; and evening/weekend babysitting.
I have good relationships with families I work with and am still in touch with 3 families whose children I looked after from birth who are now 23, 21 and 18; 15 and 13; and 13 and 11.

I’m active and passionate about my work.
I’ve always been curious about how children develop and enjoy watching them learn through their play.
I believe that children’s personal social and emotional development is the most important part of their development and that they thrive when we listen, follow their lead and what they are interested in, and provide clear age appropriate boundaries.
I love to garden; enjoy walking and love spending time with my family and friends

My Experience

I have over 41 years experience in childcare.
I have worked as an evening babysitter, including overnight weekend and holiday support. I continue to do this currently.
I am passionate about play and ran my own business providing early years education and care focusing on supporting children’s learning through play
I have worked in Children’s Centres providing holistic support for children under 8 and their families including play based learning; speech and language; managing behaviour; baby massage; forest school; and safeguarding.
I have provided family services for children and families at a maintained Nursery School.
I’m a parent of 2 grown up children and a grandparent to a 1 year old and a 7 year old who I have provided weekly care for since birth

My Availability

I’m available Monday Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm.
I drive and have my own car and am happy to babysit within 30 mins of Wandsworth SW18

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

£15 p/hr for evening babysitting minimum 3 hours (between 6pm - 1am)
£20 p/hr after 1am
