About Me

Hello, we’re a friendly but busy family looking for some extra help with our two boys, Natty (11) and Elijah (3).

Natty is a huge Marvel fan, especially Spider-Man. He enjoys relaxing with his PlayStation or Nintendo Switch and loves anything superhero-related.

He can sometimes be a little temperamental or unpredictable, so he does need supervision during certain activities such as eating to make sure he stays safe and comfortable.

Elijah is our little pocket rocket. He’s full of energy and always on the go. He loves sensory play, especially water play, and anything to do with cars. Elijah is currently non-verbal and has very little awareness of danger, so he needs close supervision and someone who is attentive and calm around him.

Because of the boys’ needs, we’re really looking for someone patient, understanding, and reliable who is comfortable supporting children who may need a bit of extra care and attention.

Experience with SEN or neurodiverse children would be a big advantage, but kindness and the right attitude are most important to us.

The main duties would involve occasionally collecting the children from nursery or school and bringing them to us while we are working, or caring for them for a couple of hours until we are able to get to them.

Due to the nature of our work, there may sometimes be short notice or last-minute requests for help.

We would of course want to meet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and we would expect appropriate references and DBS checks.

We’re hoping to find someone who can build a good relationship with the boys and become a trusted part of our support system.
