About Me
I’m a qualified and experienced childcare provider with a calm, reliable and professional approach. I have over four years of experience working in schools and nursery settings, including previously as a core member of a baby room, and currently in a mixed toddler and preschool room. My total workplace experience includes caring for children from a few months old through to 11 years.
I hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, current Paediatric First Aid, and an Enhanced DBS (for the child workforce) on the Update Service. I also have safeguarding training and regularly receive positive feedback from parents for the standard of care I provide.
Alongside my childcare qualification and training, I have a master’s degree in Maths and Physics and have experience supporting children in primary school classrooms, from 1:1 support, small groups, to whole class lessons. I could offer additional homework support if needed, particularly in primary maths, because I have occasionally helped children with their homework while working in an after-school club.
I am also a parent myself with two children, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, calm and capable to care for your children.
I am currently offering babysitting in the Harrogate area and I'm happy to discuss either regular or ad-hoc arrangements.
My Experience
I have helped to care for children from a wide age range and supported evening routines, bottle fed babies, looked after children with allergies, ensured safe eating, changed nappies, and encouraged independence/self care. I've taken children to parks and gardens in fair weather when planned and agreed, provided first aid as/when needed, and communicated appropriately with parents.

My Availability
Mostly available on Tuesdays or weekends: Friday night; Saturday night; Saturday daytime; or Sunday daytime. Unavailable Christmas week, but available New Years Eve into New Years Day.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
New Years Eve/New Years Day (regardless of duration): £18/hour
Rest of the year: £15/hour
If for 5 hours or longer: £14/hour
