About Me

I’m a qualified and experienced childcare professional who provides calm, reliable and caring childcare in your family's home. I have experience working in both schools and nursery settings, caring for children from a few months old through to 11 years of age.

I aim to give parents confidence by providing consistent, attentive care and keeping them informed about their child's day, including meals, naps, activities, achievements and any concerns.

My approach is centred on helping children feel emotionally secure, valued and happy. I get down to a child's level, follow their interests through play and conversation, and create an environment where they feel safe to explore and learn. I believe children learn best when they feel understood, respected and genuinely cared for.

I hold a level 3 early years qualification, current paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service. I also have a strong maths and science background and experience supporting children in primary school classrooms, from one-to-one support through to whole-class teaching. For families with older children, I am happy to provide homework support, particularly in helping children build confidence and understanding in primary mathematics.

I have particular experience caring for babies and young children throughout their daily routines, including feeding, sleep, play, early learning and supporting growing independence.
