My Experience

I offer a caring, experienced, and professional childcare service, built on over 14 years working in the early years sector. I’ve been lucky to have a really varied career, from working directly with children in nurseries to supporting nursery managers and teams across the UK and Scotland as an auiditer to improve the quality of care they provide. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of what high-quality childcare looks like and how to create an environment where children feel happy, secure, and able to thrive.

I lecture in early years, where I support and inspire those beginning their careers in childcare. I also hold assessor qualifications and have assessed within the sector, which has helped me develop a keen eye for good practice. I’m passionate about continually learning and regularly update my knowledge through further training, including areas such as SEN and health and safety.

At heart, I simply love working with children and being part of their growth and development. I enjoy creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel valued and confident to explore the world around them. I’m a big believer in learning through play and especially enjoy getting outdoors—whether that’s trips to animal reserves, days at the beach, or just exploring nature.

My aim is always to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, have fun, and be themselves.

My Availability

I am ideally looking for hours that fit within the school day, 2 days per week. However, I can be flexible and am open to longer hours for the right family.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

My standard rate is £16 per hour. I am happy to discuss this further depending on hours and individual family needs.
