About Me
We are a couple with a 2-year-old son who is energetic, very active and has a huge vocabulary for his age. He's bilingual — a great Portuguese speaker — but is still developing his English. He's currently attending nursery full-time (3 days a week for the last 6 weeks) and is finding the transition challenging. He's been upset, reluctant to eat or sleep, and withdrawn, which isn't his normal behaviour.
We're looking for a patient, nurturing childminder who can offer lots of cuddles and reassurance while also matching his energy and encouraging his learning. Ideally someone local to us.
My Requirements
Three days a week: Monday to Wednesday, 7:30 to 16:30. Also considering Thursday mornings 7:30 to 12:30pm depending on funding and costs. We plan to apply for Tax-Free Childcare and funding. Childminder should be registered to support these applications.
