A wonderful lifesaver.

After arriving from Australia on a Wednesday, my childcare plans fell apart and I was left without support. Hazel was quick to respond and made herself available to look after my son with mild cerebral palsy and ADHD diagnoses within 48 hours. Her attention to detail during that 48 hours to make sure she could make a safe and comfortable space for my son was incredible. She asked questions beforehand on his behaviours, triggers and how to respond.

Her property and setup for childcare was incredible, my son loved the room setup for play, and moreso that Hazel involved him in activities including letting him walk their dog and go to see the Highland cows! Despite being fairly shy, he’s since asked me more than once if he can go back to “Miss Hazel’s” before we go home.

As for me, as a nervous dad leaving his son with someone he didn’t know, she maintained regular contact, sending photos and giving updates. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice. We both rate Hazel a full 10 out of 10 and if I could clone her back home, I’d be using her services on a regular basis.
