About Me

I am a child minder of 12 years, I have a purpose built playroom as well as spacious groud floor and garden for children to spread out in. I am registered for free funded hours for 2 to 4 year olds and have experience with babies from 8 months old. We have a park at the end of the road as well as a garden to enjoy. I have 2 labradors who love children and love to join in and give children the experience of growing up with a pet with out the expense and hassle of owning one!

My Experience

I have been minding for 12 years and have cared for 60 different children seeing many of then from birth to school. I have references available. I am part of the Staffordshire Child minding network and hold Platinum status with the local county council and provide the NEF free places for 2 and three year olds. I hold a degree in childcare and have experience in teaching english as a second language to Romanian, German, Czech, French, Italian and Maltese children.

Loving and carrying childminder

Aj has been an excellent childcare provider for our three children, aged 3 now (full days) and aged 6 (school holiday). Her home is warm and inviting and she has ample space for children, including a dedicated play room and outside garden. A few things that set Aj apart is that she really encourages independence in the children she looks after, but still provides loving care and guidance. We also appreciate how flexible she is in terms of accommodating our sometimes erratic work schedules and communicating about our children's progress in the ways that works the best for us. We are only discontinuing full time childcare under Aj because are twins starting school in September.

Highly recommend !

AJ has looked after my nearly 3 year old daughter since she was 9 months old . I met various minders and AJ was the only one that my daughter taken to straight away which istantly put me at ease . My daughter enjoys going and is always doing different fun activities to enhance her abilities . An added bonus is that AJ keeps a book of things my daughter has been upto and what she has learnt , and how she has dealt with various situations . I would highly recommend AJ.
