Vikki is an exceptional childcare practitioner who has had a hugely positive impact on our family. She is not only professional and nurturing but also incredibly supportive, always taking the time to answer my many parenting questions with patience and care.
Her home is warm, welcoming and perfectly set up for children to feel safe, engaged and happy. One of the standout aspects of Vikki’s setting is her wonderful family—her children are fantastic with my daughter and their kindness and inclusiveness have really enhanced her experience.
Vikki sets clear, consistent boundaries, which is something our spirited little girl really benefits from. She is open and honest about our daughter’s behaviour—both the highs and the challenges—which we deeply appreciate. Her consistent approach to behaviour management provides stability and reassurance, both for our daughter and for us as parents.
We also really value Vikki’s focus on healthy eating—only nutritious meals, snacks, and water are provided, which aligns perfectly with our family values.
Each week is filled with exciting and varied activities. From playgroups and outings in the local area to special trips like visits to the miniature railway and the farm, our daughter’s experiences with Vikki have been incredible. These opportunities have helped her become a confident, sociable and curious little girl at just 18 months old.
It’s clear to us that much of our daughter’s progress and happiness is thanks to Vikki’s encouragement and the supportive environment she provides. We feel so fortunate to have found her and are truly grateful that she is part of Dottie’s childhood journey.

My daughter (20 months old) has been with Vikki for just over three months now, we're sadly having to leave her as we are moving away from the area. Being a lockdown baby has made it more challenging for Emmy but Vikki has been brilliant, she is really patient and always makes you feel reassured, updating you with a picture or two throughout the day to let you know what they've been up to. They go on all sorts of outings which Emmy has loved, particularly the zoo! It's a lovely welcoming and homely environment with loads of activities and toys for the children. We are so sad to be leaving Vikki and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for childcare locally.

I would recommend Vikki to anyone looking for childcare. My son loves going to her and is well looked after, happy and safe. They get out daily, rain or shine, and do lots of amazing trips and creative activities.

As a first time mum sending my daughter to a childminder Vikki really put me at ease. Explained everything in detail as I hadn't heard of the EYFS system that she followed and I was pretty clueless to be honest. I felt confident leaving my little girl in vikki's care she's a lovely lady and she has a really relaxed environment at her home. I especially loved to get a photo or two of my little girl having fun doing various things while I was away from her. It really reassured me.

My son loves Vikki! At the moment he is learning his first words, and I can say that it was with contact with this childminder I saw develop various skills. Super fun, always with different activities! Loved her work and highly recommend. Very responsible, positive, helpful and fun!

Vikki looked after my daughter full time for several months. She was always very happy and excited to go and play at Vikki's. Vikki organised lots of trips amd activities and completed her learning journey and journal so that I was able to see my daughter's progress. She provided her with healthy snacks and meals when required. I noticed that my daughter's speech improved whilst she was with Vikki and I would be very happy for Vikki to look after my daughter again in the future.
