About Me
Hi i'm Angie and I live in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh, with my husband.
We live near 2 schools, Corstorphine primary and Carricknowe.
I have three children who are now grown up and i miss them all being at home.
I previously worked in a city nursery in the baby room and have lots of new born experience as well as older children.
I love the company of children and treat all my kiddies as if they were my own. I offer a home from home, safe, clean, loving environment
I enjoy my job immensely, watching them play, and listening to their funny wee conversations. I am quite an arty girl and enjoy helping and encouraging the kids to be creative. The children i look after regularly do baking, craftwork and enjoy storytime everyday. I am a patient, loving mum who just enjoys her job.
I have been awarded a 5 rating, which is *very good* , from the Scottish care comm.
I do school pick ups from Corstorphine or Carricknowe schools and have tons of newborn experience.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
my fees are £6.50 per hour
And £12 per hr for 2 kids from same family
I provide healthy snacks to my after school children, or parents can also provide snacks if they wish. I ask full day children to bring a pack lunch.

Angie has been my daughter's childminder (now 5 years old) for over one year since we moved to Edinburgh. This was a new city with a whole host of new surroundings for my child (and ourselves). I got in contact with Angie via message through childcare.uk and Angie could not have been more accommodating (it was a Sunday Afternoon!).
On arrival, Angie lives a beatiful quiet cul-de-sac (where we live now!) and welcomed us into her beautful home. She has a large livingroom with conservatory and lovely back garden. Well suited for children of all ages. Angie and her family could have not be more welcoming and still to this day nothing has changed.
My daughter has had a wonderful experience with Angie and her family and really helped my daughter to settle into her new surroundings. This could not have been done without such a home from home environment. Angie is a natural nuturer and the children just love her!

Fantastic, caring and profesional
I can definitely recommend Angie. She is a lovely and warm person, very reliable and responsible. I never worried about leaving my son with her. Angie has a real love for children which is evident in her work.
I have absolutely no hestitation in saying how much my son loved going to Angie.
Angie was always keeping my son busy with different activities like outings, baking, crafts, pre-school sessions, walks, story time.. My son also loved playing outside in Angie’s fabulous garden. There was never a dull moment!
She kept in touch with me during the day, even sending me little pics of what Tony was getting up to.
Tony has come on leaps and bounds, with his confidence and and language skills blossoming under Angie care.
Due to a change of my personal circumstances I was absolutely gutted having to leave Angie, otherwise I would have kept on with Angie.
All in all, an amazing, kind hearted, friendly lady who I would definitely recommend!

Angie has been looking after my children since moving to Edinburgh 6 years ago.
My daughter and son love coming to Angie’s it feels like second home to them.
She picks them up from school, does lots a tivties with them, baking, parka and outings.
Always there to help in an emergency and available if required at last minute.
Can’t thank Angie enough making my children feel like they have second home.

We arranged an appointment to see Angie, we turned up at the house to be left standing at the door, in the freezing cold for 5 minutes. No answer!
It would have been nice to receive a text or a phone call to let us know she wouldn't be available.
This is my first baby and this is the first time I have tried to meet with someone for childcare and it has been an extremely disappointing first experience.

As I texted to tell you we had a family emergency and were called to the hospital where my mum's brother, my uncle died.
Thanks for your review despite me advising this.
Disappointing
Angie is suchfunans cares for my kids as her own, lots of activities done each week. Bakes, playdough, painting and visits to ths park for lots of fresh air.
Fab childcare!!
