My name is Amy Arkinstall and I live with my husband, Jonny, in Rustington. We have a little girl who was born in 2014 and little boy born in 2016.
We have a lovely house with a fun and educational playroom, large lounge/diner, kitchen and toilet downstairs. I spend a lot of my time outdoors, either in the fully enclosed garden or out in the community.
I am very passionate about my job and my aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can be happy, form friendships, learn and grow and parents can leave feeling confident their child is in safe hands. I watch how the children are playing and learn what they are interested in so that I can provide activities and resources that are challenging, interesting, achievable and most importantly, fun! I really enjoy that part of the job and would like to involve your child and you and to make sure that I am achieving this and meeting your child's needs.
I attend workshops and network with other childminders to ensure I am following current guidelines and giving the best possible care. It also gives me new ideas for activities that I can do with the children to help in all different aspects of their development.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to ask me any questions. You are more than welcome to come and visit us if you would like to.
