I live in Middleton with my Partner and our two children Lois who is 13 and Kieran who is 15. I also have a dog called called Alice, two cats called Belle and Chester, and tropical fish.
I have been a registered childminder since September 2004.I am registered with Ofsted. I pride myself on offering a warm, loving and nurturing environment and one that is stimulating and fun.
I offer a wide range of activities from home such as baking, crafts, messy play, dressing up, construction, music & movement, daily nursery rhyme sessions and lots of stories. Outdoors activities in a large well-equipped garden with sand and water area, trampoline, swings, climbing frame , play house and bikes and ride-ons. We also visit local parks, soft play areas, childrens centre and the library, and during school holidays we visit the zoo, theme parks, monkey forest and ride the steam railway, to name a few.
All the activities i plan are designed to add real value to your child's overall development. I adapt activities to include all children so we have fun as a group.
All the activities i plan are logged in your child's own Learning Journey which contain's photograph's and observations about what your child is learning and how they are developing whilst in my care.
I have a Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce and another Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare, A peadiatric first aid certificate and a certificate in Food Hygiene. I have been CRB checked. I am constantly updating my training by attending regular courses put on by my local council.
