About Me
Hi, I'm Nikki! I am an Ofsted registered childminder and live in Rowhedge and received a 'good' rating by Ofsted.
I am married and have 3 children ages 14, 10 and 2 years old. I have a Labrador called Florence and a cocker spaniel called Hudson who are both very friendly, the dogs have a seperate area away from the children and I have a pet policy in place.
My husband and I have enhanced CRB checks.
We have a spacious house with garden, I use the whole of downstairs for childminding and have a separate playroom. I provide various activities, sand and water, shaving foam fun, various arts and crafts, painting etc. I encourage learning through play and encourage children to express themselves through various activities. We enjoy outings to the zoo and go bananas. I help run the local toddler group on a Wednesday which the children really enjoy.
My Experience
I worked as a nanny for numerous years and have lots of experience working with young children, especially babies and newborns.
I worked in a Montessori nursery and have knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and teaching methods. I like to base some

I believe that every child is unique and an individual and I provide a kind and caring enviroment for your child to play and learn.

My daughter has been attending Little Owls with Nikki since May 2015. During this time she has flourished. She enjoys a variety of activities and loves going to the toddler group each week.
Nikki has provided a home from home and my daughter loves going each week and I know while I'm not there she's in the best hands.
I would happily recommend Little Owls to everyone!

My son Rupert has been going to little owls for several months, Nikki has been caring attentive and looked after him perfectly he has always come home happy and has received the best care possible he has also learnt new skills and interacted with other children which was brilliant for his development, I would highly recommend little owls to anyone.

Nikki has looked after my daughter for almost a year and what can I say apart from she is absolutely fantastic !! Brilliant with kids and has a lovely home from home environment which the kids enjoy :) absolutely wonderful childminder .. Would highly recommend Nikki to look after your children!! 5 stars :)
