Our daughter started with Slavka at 13 months and immediately settled in without any fuss. Slavka has a lovely purpose-built childcare space in her garden, with its own play area, kitchen and WC, where she looks after the children.

One of the biggest bonuses is that Slavka picks her up and drops her off at home – something we didn’t find with other childminders and which makes our lives so much easier! We both work long hours and it was impossible to fit within nursery hours. Slavka is driving them to playgroups, childminder groups, playgrounds and different activities such as singing and drawing, so I fell like we get the best of both worlds between a childminder and nursery. Our daughter gets the consistency and personal attention of being in a small setting and she has formed lovely relationships with the other children. At the same time, she gets lots of opportunities to socialise and experience different environments, and we feel this has really helped her become confident and adaptable.

Slavka keeps us regularly updated and always flags anything she notices. Her experience and attentiveness have been incredibly reassuring and have even saved us unnecessary worry and GP appointments on several occasions.

Slavka is warm, easy going and very flexible, which is all you need when you are handling a toddler yourself. As a mother of 2 boys herself, Slavka has a wealth of experience with young children, and it really shows. She knows how to handle different behaviours and situations calmly and appropriately. We really value her experience and feel completely confident in the way she cares for our daughter.

Our daughter is genuinely so happy with her and absolutely adores her. We feel very lucky to have found Slavka and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
