Are you having a baby? I would love to help you and your baby to have the best start.
My name is Cristina, I'm warm, kind and truly care about all “my babies”. I'm in love with my job and feel very lucky to help new parents to have the best start. I’m very positive person, feeling very happy and competent around babies and always trying to update on my free time to continue my training (there is always something new to learn)
Experience working with high profile families and fully staffed houses as a maternity nurse, nanny and school teacher for over 20years, having experience with new born twins & triplets.
I have a deep interest in the individual learning and personalities of children, as not all the children are the same. I believe in a good and gentle routine where daily situations, meal times, nap times, bath time, etc. are structured but always happy to adapt my practice to suit the parent’s beliefs and needs, as they are the most important part in a child's life.
My aim as a Maternity Nurse by the time I leave your home is that you as a new parents feel happy and confident enough to look after your baby without any help. Of course I’m always happy to discuss any worries you may have after I left.
I offer my services as a Maternity Nurse helping parents looking for a support in your home after the birth of your child/ren during the first few weeks, to ensure a pleasant journey for everyone involved.
My duties involve:
- Practical help with care of the baby/s (winding, nappy changing, bathing, dressing/undressing, settling to sleep)
- Information and support with infant feeding (whether breast, formula or mixed feeding)
- Assist you in stablishing a good and gentle routine adequate for you and your baby as not all the babies or families have the same needs.
- Setting up sleeping patterns and caring for the baby thought the night if you need, so you can get a good night sleep.
- Sterilizing and making up the bottles for your baby if you are bottle feeding or expressing milk.
- Teach you safety and hygiene around the baby.
- Proxy parenting if you need to travel during my booking.

Cristina spent two weeks with our 3 week old baby. I couldn't recommend her enough, she was an absolute star. Our little boy loved spending time with Cristina and she was very easy to have around. She is extremely knowledgeable and taught us so many valuable tips. We couldn't have managed without her!

Cristina lived with us for four weeks as a round the clock maternity nurse, caring for me and our new born baby. She is a truely lovely and loving person and adapted to our family in a relaxed and easy way.
As well as being professional and highly experienced, Cristina is calm, confident and happy. She gently introduced much needed organisation and order into my daily routine. Although the baby is my third, I learnt so much from Cristina and gained a new level of confidence in managing his needs. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her and highly recommend her, although I'd really like to keep her myself forever!!

Cristina is really special. Her enthusiasm about childcare shine through immediately upon meeting, and she is such a cheerful, caring person. We initially intended to utilise her as a part-time nanny, but circumstances changed and this was no longer possible, so used her as babysitter occasionally- and will continue to do so.
I had no qualms about leaving my newborn with her whatsoever.
