Jennie looked after my son Jamie for about two years, she developed a very good bond with him. It was changing in the beginning as he didn’t settle very well due to his own emotional separation anxieties. It didn’t take him long before he was settled in her care due to her caring nature and calm environment. My son developed a lot of friendships there with others, and it was a great childminding family set up she has built. Encouraging the children to respect each other. She respected my views as a parent and worked with me to support Jamie. There were always plenty of opportunities for Jamie to participate in out and about, including going into splash parks, childminding groups, museums and many more places which he liked to visit. Additionally, she offered a wide range of activities which Jamie thrived with at her setting as well, for example, teaching him to recognise numbers. His learning developed exceptionally well, and she incorporated his own interests for example teaching other children how to Sign using Sign Language. She offered a variety of healthy food choices which was good to promote healthy eating which I really appreciated. I was able to confidently work, knowing that Jamie was in good hands and being property cared for. Jamie was well prepared for starting school, he was a young four-year-old starting reception and she prepared him with all the appropriate skills needed for him to grow confidence in himself and prepare him to adapt to a new environments. Jennie offers an outstanding service and I would recommend her to any parent who need to find a Childminder.
