my name is Amber Worsfold
I am a Childminder in alvaston, Derby.
I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old daughter and live with my partner (CRB cleared and registered ).
We also have a lovely cat who is 4 years old and is very friendly and excellent with the children.
the children have the freedom of the downstairs, we have a good size garden which is suitable for use all year round and a park very close by. we enjoy trips out as often as possible to parks, farms and for a walk. we regularly join in with crafts and daily activities.. on a Tuesday we also attend a gymnastics class for children who can walk.
I should also mention no one in the household smokes and no one who enters smokes inside or around any children present.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2009.
I started in a local day nursery working with all age groups, I have been working as childminder for many years working with all ages including newborn up to aged 12
My Qualifications
I am Level 3 Qualified in BTEC Nationals Childrens Care, Learning and Development. and also undertook a childcare in the home setting course before registering. I regularly update my safeguarding and first aid and attend other courses to wider my knowledge and understanding.
Myself (Amber) and my Partner are both CRB cleared.
My Availability
I have vacancies for:
- children 0-5 years weekdays
- drop off and collection for lakeside school in Alvaston
- School holidays availability for school aged children
Opening times are from 7am-6PM Monday to friday
Bank holidays are possible with Notice and a slight change in hourly rate.

I charge £4.00 an hour
can apply special deals/Rates for multiple children and full timers. Can do special rates for holiday clubs!!
