About Me

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught across a range of age groups. I'm a friendly, calm and positive person who loves working with children of all ages.

I am offering tutoring for children in Key Stage 1 to support their learning needs across areas of the curriculum they are not confident with, or in preparation for SATs.
I taught in a Year 1 class for three years so I am very experienced in teaching phonics and early reading. I also have experience teaching children with special educational needs.

Alongside full time teaching, I have also been teaching Piano for the last 8 years, this has included students learning for fun and those wishing to sit exam grades.

My teaching methods will focus on what works for your child to maximise our time together.

I hold a degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education. I have worked as a teacher for the past five years.

My Qualifications

I hold a 2:1 degree in Psychology. I have a PGCE with QTS.
I have also completed my Piano grades with the ABRSM.
