About Me
I am a very patient, kind and caring person. I’m definitely not afraid to look silly while having fun with the children whilst keeping them safe and helping them progress with their learning and development as unique individuals. I am also a very organised, clean and tidy. I have a full clean uk driving licence and my own a car making it possible to explore further places and take part in various activities such as a day at the farm or going swimming. I am also a non-smoker.
My Experience
I have worked within nursery settings for 10 years plus caring for children ages ranging from birth to 5 years old.
I have been the special educational needs coordinator and equality named co-ordinator within the time working at nurseries.
Also i have previously nannied for a family with two children aged 4 and aged 10 months for just under a year, so I have gained some nannying experience and really enjoyed my time with the family too.
I also worked as a learning support worker within a special school helping support children with there learning, development and medical needs, ranging from ages 3 to 19 years old.
I currently work as a bank healthcare assistant at southend hospital.
Within the hospital I have worked as a healthcare assistant on the children’s ward. I also enjoyed the opportunity to work with the play team providing play therapy to children spending time in hospital and helping distract from medical procedures and treatments.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 and level 3 in childcare.
I also have adult and paediatric first aid training.
I also have attended various courses,
level 1 and 2 Safeguarding Basic Awareness course, a Equality and Diversity course and a level 2 food safety in catering course.
I have been OFSTED regististered before with my previous family i nannied for and will be more than happy to register again, and honestly would prefer to be.
My Availability
I am currently looking for a full/part time nannying job. I am happy to nanny more than one child, and fully confident nannying children with additional learning or medical needs. Happy to answer any questions.
