About Me
I am a registered childminder offering a warm and friendly environment for children to develop in. I live with my husband and 17yr old daughter, in the walcot area of swindon. I have been registered since 2008 and I have been graded a good in all of my Ofsted inspections. I have a level 3 Diploma in Home based Childcare and I can provide funded sessions for 2, 3 & 4yr olds. I have a large playroom with a natural feel, which is warm & welcoming. I have a fully enclosed garden with plenty of space to play and explore, large mud/sensory station , various large loose parts to inspire young minds to be creative. The children have a hands on approach to learning as feel they learn best by having a go themselves, developing their independence skills.
My Experience
I have previously worked in a nursery and had work experience in a pre-school.
My Qualifications
I have certificates in first aid,safeguarding children,childcare and education, food safety and ICP. I am also a member of the Quality childminding scheme. I can provide funded sessions for 2, 3 & 4 yr olds. I have passed my level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare with an overall A grade. I have many certificates for various courses I have attended and I will continue to attend any relevant training courses to keep my knowledge up to date.

I contacted Little Stars after I had my second baby (having to go back to work), I took my toddler along expecting her to be shy and hide behind my knees. I was totally surprised when she just said hello and headed straight for the toys. Being relaxed in a new environment around a new person was incredibly unusual but spoke volumes about how my eldest felt being welcomed into their home.
I have never know a more dedicated childminder, spending her weekends and evenings writing up daily activities, thinking up new activities/craft and sourcing new materials and toys. She has so much fun with my two daughters that I can slip out of the door and I wouldn’t be missed.
Always a healthy menu, loads of day trips out and regularly groups being attended even in the winter. I always have plenty to chat to my girls about at the end of the day and they are often sad to leave.
My mummy guilt is non-existent with the support of Little Stars, the load off my mind is a massive bonus. The life experiences and fun times the girls have will last them the rest of their lives!
