Our daughter has been looked after by Harpreet and her wonderful assistants since she was 13 months old and she has truly flourishing under their care. Harpreet creates a very unique environment for the children she looks after and we love that it is a cross between a childminder and small nursery setting with an average of 10-12 kids attending across all different ages.

Our daughter, who is almost 3 now and attends 4 days a week, has really benefited from being around both older and younger children and is very advanced in her learning. Harpreet treats each child as an individual and is very child led which we really value and helps each child learn at the right level for them. We also receive a lot of videos and photos during the day of activities our daughter is doing, what she is eating etc. which we love and means we can also talk to our daughter about her day more when she comes home too.

Harpreet also has a gentle approach to settling in which involves parents coming in to spend time in the setting with their child, and then different to most other settings, the parents on a different day can also sit close by in a separate room (the nap room) while the child continues to settle in, helping them get more comfortable with their new care givers, while still knowing their parent is near by. This worked really well for both us as parents and our daughter who has never once cried at drop off and we believe this slower process hugely helped this.

We are now expecting our second baby and couldn’t imagine anyone else but Harpreet and her team looking after them when the time comes. Harpreet is a real gem in the childcare environment and we are so grateful for the wonderful care she has given our daughter. For us, our daughter being happy while not with us and excited to go to Harpreet’s house is priceless and a true blessing! Thank you Harpreet, Hitu and Simran!
