Started off well then faced disappointments
I was disappointed, particularly due to inconsistent communication and policies around emergency medication and how sudden increases in my toddler’s temperature were handled.
I was also advised not to bring my child in because they had fallen asleep after breakfast at home, which is difficult to accommodate as a full-time working parent. My DS slept off once and was not in the habit of sleeping off after breakfast. This was inflexible.
Additionally, I have had to arrange alternative childcare at short notice due to the childminder being unwell.
For a full time working parent, I felt that reliable and consistent childcare is essential. Uncertainty around policies, terms of service and availability creates stress, disrupts work commitments and makes it difficult to plan with confidence.
