About Me

Hello!

I’m Faye, a nanny based in North Manchester but covers most of the north west. I have 12 years childcare experience with 10 of those as a private nanny for various families. Before I became a nanny I completed an apprenticeship in a private day nursery. I have experience with children from newborn to aged 12 and specialise in caring for twins.

I have worked for several families over the years and have excellent references on request which are available once a job offer has been made. I am still in contact with all my previous families and they have all naturally come to an end and always in good terms.

I personally have a keen interest in the Montessori approach and also love being outdoors. I would describe my approach to childcare as gentle and very child led with lots of learning through play including promoting independent play and gaining life skills along the way. I enjoy helping children create a love for learning and creating curious individuals who develop to their full potential.

I am very happy to try new things and I am highly motivated. As a nanny I make sure the child/ren in my care are well socialised and love going on adventures and exploring new places.

Last but not least I currently take my apprentice to work (my little boy, aged 13 months). This has worked wonderfully in my current role and something I hope to be able to continue to do. He has slotted in amazingly and is like a younger sibling to my two current nanny children. If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me.
