I am a mature but young at heart 57year old. I have 2 grown up daughters. I am married and live in the north east part of the town.
I have worked as a nanny, a teaching assistant and nursery practitioner.
I have many years childcare experience. Before I married I was a Nanny for 10 years. I began as a mother's help working in Buckinghamshire where I stayed for 2 years. I then moved to London working as a sole charge nanny to 2 children aged 6 weeks and 3 years. From London I moved back to the Midlands and undertook positions as a live out daily nanny.
Once married I had my own family and chose to stay at home to nuture them. When my youngest started school I went back to education and studied the Access to Higher Education course, followed by an NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant course.
I then spent six years working as a teaching assistant in local primary and secondary schools. I also gained experience at a special educational needs school.
From 2012-2017, I worked as a nursery practitioner at a local private day nursery, covering all ages from six weeks to five years.
December 2017 - September 2019, Nanny to 2 children
Sept 2019 - Nov 2019, worked as temporary Nanny whilst mother recovering from surgery.
Nov 2019- March 2020, did before/after school pick up. Returned to this same job during June/July after lockdown eased.
September 2020- present, working from 11.30-1.30 as lunchtime support for SEN children at Evergreen school
My main qualifications come from life itself. I do not hold a recognised childcare qualification. I began my career at the very bottom-as a mother's help and with a lot of hard work and dedication worked my way up to a confident and reliable sole charge nanny.
I am educated to GCSE level in English and maths and have also passed A level maths along with psychology. I have good IT skills. I am competent to provide homework assistance.
I hold an NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistants Certificate
I nave experience with newborns and children up to 16 years old.
I have experience with special needs including autism and children with profound and moderate learning difficulties. I also have excellent behavioural management skills.
I have new certificates in sign language, dysphagia and autism training Sept2020
I have advanced DBS Certificate (Sept 2020)
I am kind. confident. trustworthy and most of all reliable.
I hold a clean driving license of 35 years and have my own car with Business Class insurance
I am a competent cook, happy to provide nutritious, healthy meals.

Christine helps look after my 8 & 10year old kids in the evenings when I'm running late from work. She is great with the kids, friendly and they enjoy spending time with her. She helps with homework and makes dinner if needed. She also babysits for us, I always feel relaxed owing my kids are safe with her.
