Hello my name is Beverley; I am an Ofsted Registered childminder with an OFTSED GRADE OF GOOD IN ALL AREAS. I hold relevant childminding certificates including a current and up to date Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Certificate.
I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).
I strive to meet all parents’ needs ensuring a safe, caring, loving and enjoyable learning environment for all children. I do this is by providing maximum opportunity through explorative play and offer a variety of activities for each stage of the Early Years Foundation Stage. My primary aim is to work in partnership with you to provide continuity of care in a safe, caring, home from home environment for your child.
We track this by recording your child’s progress throughout the year in a learning journal, which contains lots of photos and art work for you to eventually take home and treasure.
My home provides a warm, friendly and caring family style environment where the children feel happy and confident to learn and develop, I offer a relaxed environment often taking the children's lead. Offering before and after school care means I care for children of all ages, allowing them all to learn from each other and play together. The children I care for are so friendly and welcoming, they love adding new friends to the mix, and have excellent relationships with both my family and I as well as with each other. I cater for all children including children with special needs and children that have dietary requirements also.
My setting is not only equipped for young children but right up to the age of 14years. We have computers accessible for home work and have a range of equipment and toys for all ages and stages of development. My garden is generously equipped with climbing frames, play houses, ride along toys, balls sand and water, mud kitchen and much more educational equipment. I also have a large toy room that is fully equipped with all toys and educational facilities. I provide many activities at my house including craft activities, board games, books, pretend play and educational resources, we also love to attend the local play groups where the children can socialise.
We visit local parks where the children can play or and follow the nature trails, through the school holidays we venture a little further. Eureka, York Railway Museum, Playdale Farm and Yorkshire Wildlife the list is endless.
We love to go on as many outings as possible both in term time and the school holidays, these include soft play, local museums, parks and the deep plus many more.
I have full Insurances for my business, including childcare cover on my vehicle, my vehicle is serviced and maintained as my husband is a mechanic. I also have car seats for children of all ages fitted into my vehicle.
I have full and part time places available for children of all ages, I also can pick up and drop off when necessary at the following schools, St Mary Queen of Martyrs, Sutton Park, St Andrews, and Bude Park.
I also have an assistant that works with me also to assist with school runs or to cover when I am on refresher training.
Parents and children are more than welcome to come and visit for a meet and greet before making any decisions.
Please feel free to contact me or drop me an email.
I have over 20 years experience working with children both at home and with my own two children, and in childcare settings.
I have experience working with children with Autism, ADHD and SPD, I have learnt what can help children with these conditions as my Grandson has all three of the above.
My working experience has been working with young adults with special needs in the past.
I look after and care for children from birth upwards.
I have excellent references from parents past and present as well as childcare professionals.
The last Ofsted inspection received GOOD in areas.

Bev is an outstanding child minder she goes above and beyond to help parents and has an amazing relationship with every child she takes care of, I would highly recommend her shes one in a million :)
My daughter was cared for by Beverley for 3 months for me and helped settle my daughter in and introduce her to other children in her care. She 100% had the needs of her and other children at the for front of her care making sure they had what they needed whilst also learning and having fun. I would highly recommend her
The flexibility that Bev offers is what makes her stand out from most , been a working partner is difficult in many factors and finding a childminder who will work around YOU is even harder.
My son has attended Bev's for almost a year and she has made working life that bit easier for myself and my family , we don't fall into the standard bracket of 9-5 yet Bev never penalised us for that and made us sucombe to specific hours of the day we rely on her as and when we need her - which is a god send!
My son loves both her and her husband Alan , they genuinely feel like family members . Bev is considerate and friendly and I always know my son is happy and safe when he is with her .
My daughter Milli has been with Beverley for 4 years now and you literally couldn't ask for more then Bev, she's kind considerate friendly and goes that extra mile for you all the time, she has so much to offer and the children love her!! She's one in a million! Highly recommended x
Bev has looked after ( and still does) my 3 children from them being approximately 1 year old. They love going to hers as she always has fun crafts, visits and other activities planned for them to do. Bev is flexible and will work around my commitments... she drops off and picks up from school and will always bend over backwards to help. I trust Bev implicitly with my children... number 4 is due imminently and I'll be booking him in with Bev. ?
