We feel incredibly lucky to have had Nancy care for Luke from when he was just 5½ months old until July this year. He initially attended one day a week, which gradually increased as he got older, and by the time he was around 1½ he was with Nancy full-time.
Nancy has been absolutely wonderful with Luke. From the very beginning, we felt that he was genuinely cared for, loved and understood. He absolutely adores Nancy, and it has been so lovely to see the bond they have built over the years. He has so many happy memories of his time with her, and Nancy has played such an important part in his early years.
One of the things we have particularly valued is how much Nancy does with the children outside of the home. She takes them out every day to playgroups, parks, museums, libraries and on local transport, giving them so many different experiences and opportunities to explore and learn. As working parents, it is incredibly difficult to juggle work and family life while also providing this variety of experiences, so we have really appreciated that Luke has been able to enjoy all of this as part of his time with Nancy.
Nancy’s family have also always been so welcoming to Luke, and he has really felt like part of their family. He has loved spending time with them and has made so many lovely memories along the way.
We have always felt completely comfortable leaving Luke in Nancy’s care and have never doubted that he was happy, safe and well looked after. She has given him so much love, attention and encouragement, while also helping him to become confident and independent.

We couldn’t have wished for a more caring and nurturing person to look after him, and we will always be so thankful that Nancy was such a special part of his childhood. We would wholeheartedly recommend Nancy to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy and genuinely wonderful childminder.
