Hi. I have been registered as a childminder for 10 years and at my last inspection I was graded outstanding.
I have experienced being a working mum and I think that helps me greatly with the type of care I give to the children I look after. I live on the Barratt Estate off Stand Lane in Radcliffe in a quiet cul de sac.
I am a very active person and enjoy sports (namely rounders) and swimming. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, bbq's - that sort of thing!
I love childminding! We have different experiences every day. I find that the children thrive in an outdoor environment so I try to spend as much time as possible outside, not only in the back garden but in any green and open spaces. I live opposite a woodland and have recently begun using it as often as possible as a mini forest school. I plan fun and interesting activities designed to encourage development for each of the children we look after. Even the youngest baby (6 months at the moment) enjoys his time outdoors. We socialize with other childminders which means the children have a wide set of friends of different ages and they get the benefit of activities which require a larger group. It also has the advantage of giving the children another adult which they become familiar with in case of emergency.
I have a good size conservatory which is my playroom but the children have most of the downstairs area of my home to play in. I also have a child friendly garden complete with sandpit, cars, bikes, playhouse and decking which the children use to play on.
The children are treated in exactly the same way as I treat my own and they are very much part of the family. This shows in the children as they look forward to coming and quite often don't want to go home!
I don't do any school runs which enables us to have as much fun as we want without having to rush back for school pick up time. it also enables me to focus on providing care for the early years age group.
I have the required qualifications for childminding and my nvq level 3 in childcare.
My last Ofsted inspection was graded outstanding in all areas
My next vacancy becomes available April 2020. I am happy to offer term time only places with no retainer fee. I am sorry but I do not do any school runs.

My circumstances and location haven't enabled me to act upon reading this lovely lady's profile. However Heidi contacted me privately and offered to help me find a childminder for my two little people.
Thanks lovely, I'm disappointed we have to go elsewhere! Thanks for your kindness xx
